What started out as a hobby has grown into a fulfilling career of helping clients live beautifully. After graduating with a Business Degree at Western Washington University, Amy navigated the corporate world in several different settings, from the buying offices of Macy’s to insurance sales and marketing. Then came three children with her amazing husband, Marty, and a pause from work to balance family life. It was during that unforgettable phase that Amy spent time doing what she loves most: being with her family and creating beautiful spaces. From early childhood years, her time and babysitting money were spent painting and redecorating her family’s home, including helping her dad with various house projects. Her love for design continued and so did the projects - helping friends, family and neighbors with everything from redecorating to renovating. She decided to turn her hobby into a career, and while raising her young kids, went back to school and graduated from Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland, OR. Licensed in both Oregon and Washington, she now runs a residential Interior Design business, where she helps clients live beautifully, through kitchen and bath remodels, room redesigns, paint consultations, and more. For Amy, living beautifully isn’t just about having the perfect-looking home - it’s about the balance between having a beautiful space, and one that works well for those who live in it. A balance between beauty and function. Where less is more, and timeless is treasured over trends.
